Company Through The Years

Northwest Funeral Chapel Ltd has been prioritizing and serving families since mid-2020 - a partnership between our founders, Terry Elaine Kappo and Bernard Olanski.

Elaine has been in the funeral industry for more than 20 years now, and Bernie has been in the business for several years. Elaine dons many hats and is the primary entity handling all of our locations and staff, and Bernie provides support and lends a hand wherever necessary.

Select the most appropriate products, including a casket, burial vault, cremation urn, cemetery or mausoleum, to fit your budget and suit your needs and desires.

Assist in the publication of the obituary in the newspapers of your choice.

Welcome your family and friends to our funeral home for your planned services, including a viewing, visitation, funeral or memorial service.

Make all arrangements for the services, whether at your place of worship, our funeral home, cemetery, or alternate gathering place.

Provide a coach, as well as arrange for escorts.

Provide access to grief education, support materials, and referrals to counselling services.

Prepare all paperwork, including vital record statistics, permits, filing and obtaining death certificates, assistance in applying for death benefits, victim services, veteran’s benefits, Canada Pension Death Benefit, and Survivors Claims.
